It is that time of year again. If you haven't already done your Christmas shopping, you might be starting to think about it now. Levi would like to put in a few requests in case you are short of ideas. He is also accepting money for his education fund. Of course, he won't notice if he gets nothing at all and we won't be offended.
Levi loves painting and would like some kid-friendly, non-toxic paints to use. (Mom won't let him into her stash).
Books for bedtime stories would be great. He likes Dr. Seuss but we only have The Foot Book, The Cat in the Hat Came Back and Oh! The Places You'll Go. * update: We also have the Eye Book, Put Me in the Zoo and Mr. Brown Can Moo.
Anything outside of Dr. Seuss is great too. Books with pictures of real animals are also a hit. They don't have to be board books now, but they will last longer if they are.

Levi was ecstatic about our snowfall today. As soon as we could get some breakfast in his belly, he was out the door. He loves his snow pants and was happily bundled up while exploring. Always eager to help, Levi was doing his share of shoveling and spreading the salt. His word for snow has no 's' yet but he loves it just the same.
It was a beautiful October morning out in White Rock. Levi and Dad had a great time digging and Levi liked to test the limits of his rain boots in the ocean.
The family took the chance on this sunny day to visit our animal friends at Maplewood Farm. As we drove around the last corner on our way there, Levi cheered, "yay!". The memory on this kid! The goats and lambs are always our favourite. But the bunnies, chickens and other animals did not get neglected.
