In case any of you were planning on gifting Levi something for his 2nd birthday (NO obligations) here are some ideas:
We are working on putting together an arts and crafts cupboard for Levi and need some help.

-small wooden tools for playdough
-washable markers
-2-year-old-friendly-paints and paint brushes
-colouring books (he likes animals, tractors, trains and trucks and dinosaurs)

and:
-bath crayons
-A 'Memory' game

Levi could also use 24 month sized clothes in everything including: shirts, pants and pajamas.
He is into shoes size 7.5 and would especially like fun rainboots in size 7.5 or 8.

Books are always welcome. We could use some potty training books or books about babies and siblings. See above.
There is a doll that I lust after and would love for Levi to enjoy (http://www.mamamordolls.com). They are VERY expensive but just in case anyone wants to make a donation, I thought I'd put it out there.

Which brings me to the next news...
We are expecting our second baby in late September! We are taking suggestions for a new blog name.

Levi insisted that he wear his plaid cap, and we insisted that he wear a toque to cover his ears. This is the compromise.

Levi has had a tenuous relationship with the vacuum: being both fascinated by it and scared of it. He has now overcome much of that fear, as shown above.

Yes, Levi made this tower himself. I may have helped on the first couple blocks on the bottom but I was hands-off for the rest. He was pretty proud of his accomplishment!
