Fishing at the lakes

The boys have all been excited about fishing lately and we are starting to explore more of the lakes in our area. Beaver has caught a trout and several tiny fish since he started!

beekeeping

 The other weekend, the kids and I took a quick beekeeping course at a local farm. Despite the cooler temps and bouts of rain, we had a great time learning about honey bees.

Bear mostly played on the farm, chasing ducks and finding new ducklings. Beaver was attentive and very interested in the bees.

Good clean fun

I went for a bike ride while dad and the kids played in the yard. This is what I came home to!

There was a dance involved in this mud extravaganza.

Dad helped with the clean up. Here is the preliminary bath before they were allowed inside for the second bath.

Easter 2015

 Easter morning! E.B. found us again and hid eggs all over the yard. Two little guys were quick to get out there and search.

 Later, we headed out for more celebrations and egg hunts at a gorgeous farm near the ocean.

Out of all the festivities (egg hunt, decorating eggs, bouncy castle etc) the best by far was exploring in the grass and visiting the animals!
