Following in their father's footsteps, the boys helped to plant Garry Oak trees at the Garry Oak preserve near us. We were hoping to spy some Western Bluebirds, but instead saw three Great-horned Owls. Not bad!
Awesome that the boys are getting such a great early exposure to environmental things and nature. That wire cage to protect the tree looks like it could contain a kid on one of 'those days'. Thanks for sharing.
