Toadlets were migrating from a local lake down the road. We drove over to see them and found a few at first.
Then we saw more! These black dots were all toadlets migrating from the lake to the surrounding woods. This part of the route was clearly more dangerous.
Wow, that is one heck of a lot of toadlets crossing the road. Nice that the boys are learning about this and will be good environmental stewards. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy the evening toad symphony from the woods that may result as these little guys grow up a bit.
